Stay in historical viewpoint houses

Juv has four guesthouses to rent.

Gamletunet and Juvsøyna er «twins». Now viewpoint houses, they are both originally 100-year-old school houses that have been moved to the farm property and placed on a stone structure made from local stones according to old building traditions.

Gamlestova was the original residential house in the yard at Juv and Stabburet was built in the 1950s for storing food.

Enjoy a hot bath outdoors

From Utsiktsbadet (the hot tub viewpoint) you find the most beautiful view over the fjord. It is both healthy and nourishment to the soul to finish a successful mountain hike or excursion by relaxing in the warm water and observe the panoramic view and the ever-changing picturesque landscape.

In the summertime it is especially atmospheric to watch the sunrise or the sunset. In the wintertime it is wonderful to be outside and feel warm and safe surrounded by the water in the darkness, and to experience the weather and the seasons and observe the lights reflecting in the fjord.

Taste the homemade products from Juv and buy souvenirs and gifts to bring back home

In the Farm shop you can purchase the well-known raspberries from Juv, either fresh in season or frozen off-season. The jam from Juv with raspberries and vintage varieties of apples is a local speciality and must be tasted. The “Juv-saft” is the farms traditional farmhouse cordial juice, and the canned raspberries are a rare craft. The climate along the fjord is good, and fruits have been grown here since the Middle Ages.
